Monday, February 23 | 11:25am – 11:50am | Champagne 2-3
In this session, Charles Williams explains Regulation A (“mini-IPO”) offerings and why they are changing access to investment opportunities that historically were reserved for accredited investors. The talk focuses on the practical investor impact: how Regulation A can offer a higher disclosure standard than many private placements, including publicly filed offering materials and, in many cases, audited financial statements and ongoing reporting. Attendees will learn how Regulation A structures can resemble institutional deal economics, what to watch for in terms of liquidity and risk, and a simple diligence framework for evaluating offerings—so they can compare Regulation A opportunities against more traditional private offerings such as Regulation D and make more informed decisions.
